Denise M. Visco, MD:

Hi, my name is Dr. Denise Visco. I'm an ophthalmologist in York, Pennsylvania with Eyes of York. I've been in practice for 27 years. Today, I gave a presentation on astigmatism management with a dual-pulse femtosecond laser on low to moderate astigmatism up to 1.25 diopters. What we showed is that the dual-pulse laser successfully treated the astigmatism. We were able to take a mean astigmatism of 0.68 and reduce that to 0.28 for our patients, with 96% of them having less than a half a diopter of residual refractive astigmatism at the postoperative one month period.
