How to prevent, manage the occurrence of flap buttonholes

Although the incidence of microkeratome-related complications during LASIK has diminished with the improvement of the instrumentation and surgeons' expertise, the occurrence of intraoperative complications such as flap buttonholing is still a matter of concern.
