The comprehensive Hawaiian Eye and Retina 2024 meetings, billed as the most unique meeting in Ophthalmology, are fast approaching on January 13 to 19, 2024. The meeting will convene at the Grand Wailea Maui, 3850 Wailea Alanui Drive, Wailea, HI.

The organizers promise a new experience that features “world-class educators, practice-enhancing dialogue, opportunities for networking, and a tranquil environment,” with discussions and presentations conducted in the resort’s conference center and near the beach.

In addition to the beautiful setting, there is something for all professionals who are encouraged to attend. Ophthalmologists can have their entire staff participate in the program which includes presentations for comprehensive ophthalmologists, retina specialists, administrators, office managers, nurses, technicians, and allied health professionals.

Registration is available online.

This conference boasts combined sessions for the first 2 days so that attendees can gain insight from all viewpoints. According to the conference website, Saturday’s events cover subspecialty areas and Sunday looks at what’s new this year and how to adapt to the changing practice environment.

For the next 5 days from Monday through Friday, the focus is on individual CME/COE/CNE program content and speakers tailored to each group.

During the conference, more than 100 combined faculty members will share perspectives and pearls and then make time for one-on-one conversations with attendees. All of these opportunities speak to the uniqueness of this experience.

In commenting on the comprehensive program, Richard Lindstrom, MD, said, “Join us in Hawaii for a comprehensive discussion on what’s new in ophthalmology, covering important topics in medical, surgical, and practice management areas. The education is first-rate and the environment is amazing, providing each of us with an experience that is not only constructive professionally but also memorable for ourselves and families."
