Essilor site receives additional certification

Dallas-Essilor of America announced that its Gentex Optics site in Carbondale, PA, received ISO 14001:1996 certification for its Environmental Management Program. Gentex Optics is a leading worldwide supplier of high performance polycarbonate eyewear, including prescription lenses, sunwear, and military protective products.

This certification is in addition to the recent audit and upgrade to ISO 9001:2000. The Carbondale sitereceived its original ISO 9001 registration in January 2000. TUV Rheinland of North America Inc., an independentaccredited third-party registrar, conducted the audit.
