It is Academy time! The American Academy of Ophthalmology’s annual meeting will take place from October 18 to 21 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The event will feature a range of symposia, instructional courses, clinical sessions, original research presentations, skills transfer lectures, videos, posters, and the Expo.

The Academy will debut its Saturday Night Celebration, which will be held from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm on October 19. The new Saturday Night Celebration is a great place to connect with friends and colleagues, meet academy leadership, and just have fun at one of Chicago’s hottest nightclubs, TAO.

Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of scheduled breaks in the scientific program to connect with colleagues, visit affinity group lounges, and explore the Expo. The academy will offer both in-person and virtual options as well as Subspecialty Days on Friday and Saturday.
