SynergEyes launches post-surgical hybrid contact lens

SynergEyes Inc. has launched a hybrid contact lens (SynergEyes PS) designed specifically for post-refractive surgery patients in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

San Diego-SynergEyes Inc. has launched a hybrid contact lens (SynergEyes PS) designed specifically for post-refractive surgery patients in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The hybrid contact lens is intended for patients with oblate corneas resulting from refractive surgery, corneal trauma, or degenerative conditions, including penetrating keratoplasty.

FDA-approved, the contact lens is designed to offer post-surgical patients who need further vision correction a solution that provides centration, stability, comfort, and a high degree of visual success.

In other news, SynergEyes recently was presented with the 2007 American Electronics Association (AeA) High-Tech Award for driving technological advancement in medical devices in the San Diego County region.

"The award is a true testament to the dedicated team of SynergEyes employees who have reached technical accomplishments in the contact lens industry never before achievable," said Kellie Kaseburg, vice-president, global marketing for SynergEyes.
