Some pathogens difficult to treat, even with newer agents
Miami-Microbiologic studies indicated that Mycobacterium chelonae and M abscessus respond to antibacterial treatment differently from other atypical nontuberculous mycobacteria, reported Eduardo Alfonso, MD, of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami.
