Pascal photocoagulator now available globally

Santa Clara, CA-OptiMedica Corp. has received ISO 13485 certification, and the Pascal photocoagulator has received CE Mark approval and is now available for sale internationally.

Santa Clara, CA-OptiMedica Corp. has received ISO 13485 certification, and the Pascal photocoagulator has received CE Mark approval and is now available for sale internationally.

The Pascal system was launched in the United States earlier this year. The first Pascal systems placed outside the United States will be at key practices in Japan and Europe.

"We are looking forward to becoming one of the first international sites to acquire the Pascal system, as retinal diseases are the leading cause of blindness in the United Kingdom," said Paulo Stanga, MD, associate head of division at the Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester.
