Rouses Point, NY-Imperial Optical Inc. introduced a new one-tier pricing structure, effective March 15. This new pricing structure gives many independent eye-care practitioners the same price points that are generally reserved for higher-volume practices.

"We made a business decision to level the playing field for independent eye-care practitioners who practice in smaller communities where they do not have the patient volume afforded those who practice in metropolitan areas," said Samir Gad, Imperial Optical's president and CEO.

"Early feedback we have received regarding this pricing change has been very favorable," Gad continued. "In fact, we made the decision to look into a one-tier pricing structure based on the many conversations we've had with smaller independent eye-care practitioners."
