MEETH Reopens after Anthrax Scare
NEW YORK-New York City's only case of inhalation anthrax-diagnosed in Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital (MEETH) employee Kathy Nguyen on Oct. 28th-immediately catapulted the hospital into national news as the first hospital in the nation possibly linked with an anthrax case. The event gave one of ophthalmology's leading teaching hospitals publicity no hospital ever would seek.
