Kristen Nwanyanwu, MD, MBA, MHS:

Hello. I'm Kristen Nwanyanwu, associate professor of ophthalmology and visual science at Yale University. My talk was "Eradicate TRD," and what we're really trying to figure out is how to address challenges in access to care, particularly in humans that have advanced diabetic retinopathy to prevent blindness. So we talked about research. So our scene lab where we look at community engagement and big data and implementation science and try to figure out options to help advance care and people that really need it. We talked about advocacy and the work that the Academy is doing, and the American Society of Retinal Specialists trying to figure out how to get access to the care that we need. And we talked about incentives and talking about appropriate incentives for people that may not have access to sight-saving care that we can provide.

Of course, we love the Envision conference. We love the fact that the kids can come and they can see the talks. We love the fact that it's right next to the scientific meeting, so you can come across and they have a great time. What did you think, girls, about it? I thought it was wonderful. Yeah. How about you? It's awesome. Would you come back? Yes, all right. Great
