Annual Wilmer Vail meeting set for March 16 to 20

Vail, CO-The Wilmer Eye Institute will host its 26th annual Current Concepts in Ophthalmology meeting here March 16 to 20.

The meeting focuses on clinical use and medical issues important to practicing ophthalmologists, with a specific concentration on the latest in glaucoma, retina, anterior segment, and refractive surgery. Expert faculty will present developments in the management of ocular conditions through a combination of didactic and highly interactive discussion sessions. Time has been allotted for case study discussions.

Course directors are Walter J. Stark, MD, and Neil M. Bressler, MD. The course is co-sponsored by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Ophthalmology Times.

Registration cut-off date is March 9. A $50 late fee will apply to registrations received after this date. The cost is $715 for physicians and $425 for residents, fellows, and allied health professionals. The spouse seminar is $225.

Attendees are encouraged to book their accommodations at the Vail Marriott Resort & Spa, which is the conference headquarters hotel and site of the meeting. It is located in Lionshead Village, close to Vail Village. The facility can be reached at 800/648-0720 or 970/476-4444.

The meeting's days are divided into early morning and late afternoon sessions to allow participants and their families to enjoy the skiing and other activities available in Vail during the day.
