Geographic atrophy, an advanced stage of age-related macular degeneration, is a significant cause of vision loss. Given the progressive nature of geographic atrophy and its significant impact on quality of life, educating health care professionals about the disease burden, diagnostic strategies, and evolving management strategies is essential.

This PER On-Air Ophthalmology Times podcast provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from the Envision Summit 2025 meeting, held in February 2025. This unique and engaging activity focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients with geographic atrophy, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context.
