Wilmer Eye Institute lauded for Best Overall, Best Research programs

The Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, was honored for excellence in two areas of ophthalmic achievement in Ophthalmology Times? 2007 Best Programs Awards.

The Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, was honored forexcellence in two areas of ophthalmic achievement in Ophthalmology Times' 2007 Best ProgramsAwards.

The institution was ranked first in the categories of Best Overall and Best Research programs. Eachyear, the publication conducts a poll among chairmen and residency directors from ophthalmologyprograms across the United States.

The award was presented during the Wilmer Eye Institute's reception Saturday evening at Galatoire'sRestaurant.
