VISX University

Advanced Medical Optics announced that keynote speaker James H. Gilmore, co-author of “The Experience Economy: Work is Theatre & Every Business a Stage,” will speak at the VISX University Practice Development Seminar on Nov. 10 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Gilmore promises to give attendees radical new insight on competing in today’s “Experience Economy.”

One-hour breakout sessions will cover topics such as the model CustomVue consultation; turning telephone conversations into consultations; using key patient messaging to accelerate practice growth; mining for patients in your own practice; patient financing and the competitive advantage; and the 10 most common advertising mistakes and how to correct them.

Following the breakout sessions, attendees are invited to the 10th Anniversary VISX University reception. The anniversary reception celebrates 10 years since the FDA approved laser vision correction and the launch of VISX University.
