VISX University celebrated its 10th anniversary Friday at the Sands Expo Center with record attendance.

More than 400 physicians and practice managers joined the general session and breakout courses.

Shareef Mahdavi, MD, and James H. Gilmore, co-author of "The Experience Economy: Work Is Theatre & Every Business a Stage," gave attendees new insight on competing in today's "Experience Economy."

In addition to discovering Gilmore's approach to gaining the competitive edge, attendees learned about the inside track on today's laser vision correction market and how to make the most of growth opportunities. Industry-recognized experts and specialists from Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) provided primary and advanced sales tools and training during hands-on breakout sessions.
