Vision Expo West has the 'Vegas' notion for ophthalmology

More than 550 exhibitors from around the world will display thousands of eye-care products and services.

Living up to its motto-"the place to learn"-the International Vision Expo West continuing education conference is the place to be Sept. 13 to 16 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas.

First-time events

During International Vision Expo West 2006, the extensive show floor provides an arena where more than 550 exhibitors from around the world will display and demonstrate thousands of eye-care products and services. Specialized pavilions, dedicated to medical and scientific, and equipment and technology, offer attendees the opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest.

Exclusive eyewear designs will be on view at The Galleria and The Suites. Many major vendors will display their product lines at The Galleria on the exhibit hall floor. Located on the 34th and 35th floors of the Venetian Hotel, The Suites is a sophisticated line of showrooms for high-end, luxury eyewear designers and specialty lens producers, all gathered in one convenient location.

Exhibit hall dates and hours are: Thursday, Sept. 14, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 15, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, Sept. 16, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
