VisiJet is now Advanced Refractive Technologies

Irvine, CA—VisiJet Inc., which markets the EpiLift System for performing EpiLASIK, is changing its name to Advanced Refractive Technologies Inc. (ART).

Irvine, CA-VisiJet Inc., which markets the EpiLift System for performing EpiLASIK, is changing its name to Advanced Refractive Technologies Inc. (ART).

The company said it was "rebranding" itself as it prepares to ramp up sales of EpiLift, which the FDA has approved for separating corneal tissue.

The company also is developing Pulsatome, an emulsifier using waterjet technology for cataract removal.
