Video aids in explaining retina, exam to patients

Marlborough, MA-Optos Inc. will work with Eyemaginations Inc., an interactive design and multimedia firm, to create patient education materials about eye care.

Under the strategic alliance, the companies plan to develop an animated, 3-D video that will help doctors and staff explain the retina and Optos' Optomap retinal exam to patients. The video will be incorporated into Eyemaginations' 3-D Eye Office software.
