Pinellas Park, FL-Transitions Optical Inc. continues to spread the word about the importance of protecting eyes from ultraviolet (UV) radiation with an expanded consumer initiative geared toward the rising Hispanic-origin population in the United States.

The message has already appeared in popular Hispanic news outlets (including print, radio, television, and online), totaling more than 17 million impressions to date. This number is expected to increase with the launch of a five-part radio news series, which debuted this summer and will continue airing throughout the year.

To help eye-care professionals with the campaign in their individual practices, several customizable tools are available in Spanish on the Transitions Online Marketing (TOM) tool. Users can choose from several varieties of counter cards/dispensing mat inserts focused on adult patients or children and on topics related to lifestyle issues or preserving healthy sight. They can also create their own ads for local media, which can include multiple photos, locations, and special offers.

The TOM tool is accessible through the Transitions Web site at http://www.transitions.com/.
