Transitions lens earns AOA seal

Pinellas Park, FL—The American Optometric Association has issued its Seal of Acceptance for Ultraviolet Absorbers/ Blockers to the Transitions V Lenses with ESP (enhanced scientific performance).

Pinellas Park, FL-The American Optometric Association has issued its Seal of Acceptance for Ultraviolet Absorbers/ Blockers to the Transitions V Lenses with ESP (enhanced scientific performance).

The seal means the lenses block at least 99% of UVA and UVB and at least 80% of radiant energy between 380 and 400 nm.

Transitions Lenses were the first to earn the seal when the category was launched in March 2004, the company said in a prepared statement.
