Pinellas Park, FL-Transitions Optical Inc. will instruct eye-care professionals in the evolution of photochromic technology as it prepares to launch its latest photochromic lenses by Feb. 1.

The educational program module, called Transitions V with ESP: The Next Step in Photochromic Lens Technology, is designed to focus on the importance of healthy vision and the benefits of the Transitions V Lenses with ESP. The program will include the results of research on 140 patients and 100 eye-care professionals and a new clinical paper.

Each module will be available as a 1-hour, ABO-accredited seminar or shorter presentations for in-office use.

The new lenses are designed to darken faster and darker outdoors than those with previous technology, while remaining virtually clear indoors.
