Las Vegas—Transitions Optical Inc. is offering a series of short courses on the basics of dispensing photochromic lenses.

Las Vegas-Transitions Optical Inc. is offering a series of short courses on the basics of dispensing photochromic lenses.

The 15- to 20-minute "Skills Workshops for Real Life" courses are delivered in-office to one person or an entire practice.

Courses are available on Presenting Transitions Lenses, and Transitions and Kids. The first provides tips on discussing the product's benefits, how to overcome common misperceptions, and how to reinforce patient satisfaction after the purchase. The second offers industry statistics and guidelines about kids' eye care, and offers suggestions for presenting Transitions to kids and their parents.
