Semicircular ring segments promising for keratoconus

Mendoza, Argentina-Intrastromal implantation of semicircular ring segments (Ferrara rings, Ferrara Ophthalmics) may be a good option for treating early keratoconus, but its efficacy and safety in the management of postoperative ectasia appear less promising, said Roberto Zaldivar, MD.
