Santinelli, Nidek mark 20 years

Hauppauge, NY-Santinelli International and Nidek are commemorating the 20-year anniversary of their business alliance this year.

The relationship began in 1991 when Nidek started its lens edger division in the United States. Santinelli distributes the equipment. The two companies have since introduced more than 15 different lens edger models and another 25 ancillary products.

“Our anniversary with Nidek is particularly noteworthy as many other optical companies continue to make management, ownership, and distributor changes,” said Gerard Santinelli, president and chief executive officer of Santinelli.
