Safilo picks director of product development

In this newly created position, Parker will be responsible for managing the overall development process, design direction, and trend forecasting for all domestic-based licensed, proprietary, and private-label eyewear brands sold by Safilo in North America. He will also help select pieces of the European-designed collections for sale in the United States.

Parker previously was vice president of product development for Lantis Eyewear.
