Rapid onset of diffuse corneal edema seen in TASS
Salt Lake City-Postoperative anterior segment inflammation within 24 to 48 hours after cataract surgery may be toxic anterior segment syndrome (TASS), according to Nick Mamalis, MD, who coined the term and explained its etiology.
