East Rutherford, NJ-The Coalition for Accessible Physicians (CAP) is planning an April 20 rally in Washington, DC to garner legislative support for medical liability reform.

The organization launched a Web site ( http://www.nationaldoctorsday.org/) to educate doctors and patients about the rally and its goals. The site also features an online petition, which will be presented to Congress during the rally.

"I encourage my colleagues to visit the site and become active in our campaign," said CAP Chairwoman Ruth Schulze, MD. "Our outreach is necessary to allow the nation's best and brightest physicians to continue to practice medicine and treat our patients."
