OWL announces finalists for annual awards

Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWL) has announced it will honor three award winners during its signature “OWL Monday” reception and program held in conjunction with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting in Boston.

 

Washington, DC-Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWL) has announced it will honor three award winners during its signature “OWL Monday” reception and program held in conjunction with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting in Boston.

The reception will be held Monday, April 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, in the Atlantic Ballroom.

The three awards that will be presented at the reception are:

·      Visionary Woman Award: Honors a woman who has paved the way for other women in her field through significant professional achievement.

·      Catalyst Award: Honors an individual who has demonstrated leadership in supporting the advancement of women.

·      Rising Star Award: Honors an emerging leader in the ophthalmic space.

Voting will conclude on April 9.
