Online glaucoma test offered by Lighthouse

New York-Lighthouse International offered a free trial of an online glaucoma test on its Web site for 1 week earlier this year as part of its celebration of Low Vision Awareness Month.

The Peristat test, which evaluates glaucoma risk with 90% accuracy, normally costs $29.95, but is available via Lighthouse International's Web site ( http://www.lighthouse.org/glaucoma/) for $15.

The test, which has been clinically tested and is FDA-approved, takes 3 minutes to complete.
