OctoPlus adds staff to senior management

Leiden, Netherlands?OctoPlus, a drug delivery and development company, has promoted Gerben Moolhuizen to chief business officer and appointed Ewoud van Hoogdalem, MD, as chief medical officer.

Leiden, Netherlands-OctoPlus, a drug delivery and development company, has promoted Gerben Moolhuizen to chief business officer and appointed Ewoud van Hoogdalem, MD, as chief medical officer.

Moolhuizen joined the company in 2001 and previously served as its director of OctoPlus Products. He succeeds Henrik Luessen, PhD, who is leaving to start his own consulting company.

Dr. Hoogdalem was director of experimental medicine with Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D in Belgium. He is a registered clinical pharmacologist.
