Researcher Adam Dubis, PhD, from John A. Moran Eye Center, is playing a role in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in eye care.¹ Dubis cofounded German-based health tech company deepeye Medical GmbH, which has gained European Union (EU) Medical Device Regulation (MDR) for its ophthalmology AI algorithm for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).¹
