Modern Solution names vice president of sales

Carlsbad, CA-Modern Solution appointed Vincent S. Abbott as vice president of sales. Abbott has more than 14 years of medical sales experience and most recently was western regional sales manager for Advanced Medical Optics/VISX.

In his new role, Abbott will manage all elements of Modern Solution's sales and continue the company's growth as well as implement partner opportunities. Abbott also will leverage his extensive contacts to aid expansion into complementary vertical markets.
