McDonald reflects on past year's ASCRS accomplishments
San Francisco-The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery(ASCRS) achieved a significant victory on the Medicare reimbursement updateissue this year when the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)released a regulation in February that added $54 billion to the 2003 Medicarebudget, noted Marguerite McDonald, MD, during ASCRS' Opening Session.
