Low levels of antioxidants may contribute to AMD
Salt Lake City-Research from the Moran Eye Center, University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, showed that low ocular levels of the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin could contribute to age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
