Jewish community carries out eye-care charity campaign

The Jewish community of Perm is carrying out a charity campaign to provide people with proper eye care.

Perm, Russia-The Jewish community of Perm is carrying out a charity campaign for its pensioners, persons with low incomes, and those who are either physically or mentally challenged to provide them with proper eye care.

In collaboration with the Vision Ophthalmology Co., the project aims to provide check-ups, research, and treatment of eye problems.

This is not the first time that the staff at the Vision Clinic has helped the Jewish community. Their assistance has improved the lives of more than 300 people from Perm, Kuruga, and Krasnokamsk.

One of the veterans participating in this project commented, "As old and poor people, we never even hoped that we would sometime see this world again without glasses. Life after the operation is like a new shiny coat of paint and for this we are grateful to the Jewish community for this gift."
