IOP reduction key to delaying glaucoma onset in blacks
Washington, DC-Research sponsored by the National Eye Institute has shown that reducing elevated IOP with medical therapy can delay or possibly prevent the onset of glaucoma in African-Americans, who are at higher risk of developing the disease.
