IOL pioneer joins digital imaging firm

Irvine, CA?3D Vision Systems Inc., a digital imaging technology developer, has added industry veteran John Gilbert to its medical advisory board.

Irvine, CA-3D Vision Systems Inc., a digital imaging technology developer, has added industry veteran John Gilbert to its medical advisory board.

Gilbert, who previously worked with Iolab, one of the industry's first IOL manufacturers, will assist the company with planning and strategy.

He was president of Iolab during the 1980s and became vice chairman and vice president of Johnson & Johnson, Iolab's parent company. He retired in 1992.
