Insight Equity buys Vision-Ease Lens, takes on name
Ramsey, MN-BMC Industries Inc. has sold most of the assets of its Vision-Ease Lens business to Insight Equity A.P. X, LP, a Texas-based limited partnership.

Ramsey, MN-BMC Industries Inc. has sold most of the assets of its Vision-Ease Lens business to Insight Equity A.P. X, LP, a Texas-based limited partnership.
BMC had agreed to sell parts of the Vision-Ease Lens business as part of its bankruptcy proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.
The court authorized the sale to Insight Equity in August. The business is now operating as Vision-Ease Lens.
