Increasing scan diameter dramatically affects higher-order aberration measurements

New York-The amount of higher-order aberrations revealed using a Hartmann-Shack-style wavefront sensor increases exponentially with increasing scan diameter, and that relationship has important implications for evaluation and treatment, said Barrie D. Soloway, MD, FACS.
