Genentech recently announced five-year efficacy, safety, and durability data from its phase 3 Portal study for the evaluation of Susvimo (ranibizumab injection) for the treatment of people with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD).1 The Portal study is a long-term extension of the phase 3 Archway (NCT03677934) study, and the cohort of people who entered the Portal study from Archway is the largest cohort of people with wet AMD to be followed prospectively and continuously in a clinical study for 5 years.1
