Neil Levine, senior director and group leader of Ophthalmology and Endocrine Care at Pfizer Ophthalmics, was named to the advisory board of directors of the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (FAAO).

"I am delighted to be joining the distinguished advocates for healthy vision on the FAAO board," Dr. Levine said. "The FAAO's commitment to providing eye-care services to the medically underserved and educating the public about vision is one that Pfizer—and I, personally—value. It is a privilege to work with such a prestigious organization, and I look forward to working with the FAAO to expand the number of people who benefit from their programs."

The FAAO said that Dr. Levine's health-care experience will make a valuable contribution to the group's programs, which include EyeCare America, the nationally recognized and award-winning public service program.
