Eyefinity network streamlines lab, frame processing

Folsom, CA-Eyefinity, an optical industry Internet portal ( http://www.eyefinity.com/),has launched the Express Path Network, an alliance of optical laboratories and frame manufacturers that improves the way spectacles are processed and delivered to the private eye-care practice.

The Express Path Network allows practitioners to streamline lab and frame ordering and claim filing into a one-step process, letting them eliminate steps in the shipping process, reduce staff workload, and maintain a full inventory of frames in their dispensary.

"The addition of the Express Path Network to our eCommerce services not only provides private practice eye-care doctors and their staffs with ease and convenience, but also allows private practice, frame manufacturers, and labs to work together to serve the eye-care patient," said Don Yee, Eyefinity president and chief executive officer.
