Essilor adds two Crizal EXT labs

Dallas-Essilor of America Inc. has added two Independent Distribution Division Crizal EXT labs: McLeod Optical and Optical Prescription Laboratory. Both new partners have the capabilities to produce Crizal anti-reflective (AR) coatings in-house, creating value-added benefits such as improved service time.

Dallas-Essilor of America Inc. has added two Independent Distribution Division Crizal EXT labs: McLeod Optical and Optical Prescription Laboratory. Both new partners have the capabilities to produce Crizal anti-reflective (AR) coatings in-house, creating value-added benefits such as improved service time.

"The more labs we have that can utilize our technology, the better we are able to serve both the eye-care practitioners and their patients," said Bob Colucci, president, Independent Distribution Division.

McLeod Optical has five locations serving the New England area including: Augusta, Bangor, and Eliot, ME; Waterbury, CT; and Warwick RI. The Crizal EXT coating center is located in the Warwick, RI, lab. Optical Prescription Laboratory is based in Pelham, AL, and serves Alabama, southern Tennessee, western Georgia, and eastern Mississippi.
