Er:YAG Laser Phaco Possible with two Smaller Incisions

Florence, Italy-For patients with moderately hard nuclei and soft nuclei, it is now possible to perform cataract extraction using erbium:YAG laser phacoemulsification (Phacolase, Asclepion-Meditec) through two small incisions with complete safety and in the same amount of time as ultrasound phacoemulsification, according to Alessandro Franchini, MD.
