Dry eye technology more accessible

TearScience announced that it will make the LipiView interferometer and LipiFlow thermal pulsation system available for individual purchase, allowing premium surgical practices to implement the innovative technology with the flexibility best suited to their individual operational strategy.

Boston-TearScience announced that it will make the LipiView interferometer and LipiFlow thermal pulsation system available for individual purchase, allowing premium surgical practices to implement the innovative technology with the flexibility best suited to their individual operational strategy.

“TearScience is making its dry eye technology available to eye-care professionals interested in dramatically changing the way MGD is managed,” said Wade Hampton, chief commercial officer, TearScience. “The LipiView ocular surface interferometer, the Korb meibomian gland evaluator, and the LipiFlow thermal pulsation system can now be purchased as a system or separately, to significantly reduce the barrier for acquiring and implementing a widely adopted, proven, and efficacious dry eye solution.”
