Since completing his residency in ophthalmology at Loma Linda University in 1983, Dr. Tooma has dedicated his career to improving the quality of life for thousands of patients by helping them achieve improved vision.

"The best part of my job is seeing the absolute joy and excitement of each patient after their procedure," said Dr. Tooma.

Dr. Tooma is said to be among the first surgeons to perform LASIK and custom wavefront-guided LASIK in California. Since he decided to focus on the field of laser correction in 1994 he has performed more than 75,000 vision correction procedures.
