Double-digit growth seen in prescription inserts

Des Plaines, IL—Addition Technology Inc. has seen another boost in sales of its micro-thin prescription inserts (Intacs).

Des Plaines, IL-Addition Technology Inc. has seen another boost in sales of its micro-thin prescription inserts (Intacs).

The company said its second-quarter 2005 sales of the prescription inserts, which are used to treat keratoconus and myopia, increased 55% versus the same quarter the previous year. Sales increased 45% over the first quarter this year. The company said it is the ninth consecutive quarter for double-digit growth.
