'Check Yearly. See Clearly.' campaign wins NHI awards

Alexandria, VA-The National Health Information (NHI) awards program presented two honors for its 2007 competition of the nation?s best consumer health information programs to the Vision Council of America?s Check yearly. See Clearly campaign.

Alexandria, VA-The National Health Information (NHI) awards program presented two honors for its 2007 competition of the nation"s best consumer health information programs to the Vision Council of America's Check yearly. See Clearly campaign.

Check Yearly's "An Eye Doctor Can See Things You Can't" public service advertisement campaign was given the Bronze award for Total Health Information Program in the Health Promotion/Disease and Injury Prevention Information category.

"As an organization we strive to improve the vision health of our nation, and we bring attention to the topic through creative informational pieces and key partnerships," said Ed Greene, VCA's chief executive officer.

The Check Yearly. See Clearly. campaign has been recognized for its efforts by the Public Relations Society of America and the American Society of Association Executives & the Center for Association Leadership.
