Cataract surgeons 'tell it like it is'
Throughout his career, Robert H. Osher, MD, has been drawing large numbers of attendees at the major ophthalmic conferences to his presentations.
While devoting his trademark unending energy and commitment to excellence in planning the meeting, Dr. Osher said he remained cautiously optimistic about the ultimate success of this new experiment in medical education. However, as he called the meeting to a close, Dr. Osher told attendees that the event far exceeded any of his highest expectations, and he is already looking forward to preparing next year's meeting, which is scheduled for Jan. 19 to 22, 2012.
"The faculty went over the top in their preparation and completely committed themselves to making this event special," Dr. Osher said.
He added, "Next year will be even better for the 95% of attendees who indicated they will return."
